Adjusting can be done in several ways:
- Directly into the ecu of the engine or car.
- Indirectly with a "piggyback" module, which takes over the control of the standard Ecu. This is because it is sometimes impossible to open the Ecu.
The module feeds the air weighting signal and ignition signal into the ECU and via a core field back to the ECU. In this way, almost all ecu,s can be reprogrammed via various signals.
