ECU Remapping for Ducati Multistrada 1260 at Tovami
With this remapping, or flashing of the ECU, we fully customize your Ducati Multistrada 1260 on our dyno. This is essentially comparable to chip tuning in cars. In principle, we can achieve the same results as with a tuning module, and often we can even adjust more parameters.
Things we can adjust:
- Fuel map
- Ignition map
- Throttle map (if electronic throttle is present, which varies per model)
- Idle speed
- Exhaust valve map (if applicable)
- Rev limiter
- Fan activation temperature
- Quickshifter interruption time (if applicable)
We can also disable certain functions:
- O2 sensor fault code
- 'Cut-off' after closing the throttle; by disabling this, the engine gets the opportunity to inject a small amount of mixture after closing the throttle. This significantly reduces engine braking and ensures much smoother throttle response when the throttle is reopened.
- Exhaust valve, eliminating the need for a 'servo buddy'.
