Cordona quickshifters are manufactured in Sweden. A quickshifter is an automatic shifter that allows upshiftingwithout a clutch and without closing the throttle. The quickshifters are so good that they are even used by several race teams in Grand Prix as the WSBK. Among others, the KTM and Honda moto3 teams have become world champions with them and the currently very successful Petronas team rides with them.

A Cordona quickshifter is the best choice because:

• a strain gauge loadcell is being used
• The firmware is highly advanced

A load cell offers the following advantages:

• The sensor requires almost no movement, unlike other systems (including the original sensors) which often operate with a spring mechanism.
  
• This significantly reduces the risk of failure.
• The shift stroke can thus be made shorter and more direct.
• The rod with the sensor has less movement, making the energy from the shifting motion more effective.
• The moment of interruption and engagement of the next gear overlap more effectively, allowing for more precise shifting and a shorter interruption.
• Due to the shorter interruption, smoother upshifts are possible with less time loss. Furthermore, there is less instability, and the tire maintains better contact with the asphalt, resulting in increased grip.

The firmware:

• Makes the ECU think the engine is still accelerating, allowing more momentum and eliminating the chance of error messages
• Interrupts all cylinders simultaneously but reactivates them in a specific sequence to ensure the initial load on the gearbox, chain, AND tire is smoother. This significantly improves stability and grip during acceleration.
• It is extensively adjustable and constantly self-corrects based on the prevailing conditions.
